Diablo 666 shakedown test at Brands Hatch, Kent
Diablo 666 had a final shake down test at Brands Hatch, Kent with all three of this season’s riders being in attendance. This will be Diablo 666’s last chance before the official test at the Le Mans circuit in a fortnight for the riders to get the chance to get some time on the bikes. Marko Rohtlaan having made the trip over from Estonia specifically for this test and Aussie, Alex Cudlin now being based in the UK for this years Championship.

Since the first test of the year at Jerez in Spain, this was to be the first chance all three riders have had to meet up again and compare notes as to the performance of the much improved Kawasaki ZX-10’s the Team will again be campaigning in this years 2006 World Endurance Championships.

Conditions at the Kent track were far from ideal, with a bitter cold easterly wind meaning that twenty minutes was all each of the riders could realistically spend on the bikes at a time, before heading back to pit lane for a thorough warm through! Fan heaters were very much the order of the day.

The bikes ran faultlessly as normal thanks to Chief Mechanics, brothers, Geoff and Doug Randall who have spent many hours over the winter break, fine tuning and improving the Team’s Kawasaki 2005 ZX-10’s.

The Team this year are realistically hoping to improve on their 5th place finish in last year’s championship especially with James Hutchins, Marko Rohtlaan and Alex Cudlin now having been confirmed as the Team’s final rider line up.

All three young riders are re-markedly quick and this combined with the fast and reliable ZX-10’s, Diablo 666 are aiming high in this year’s Championship.

The Team will be heading off to the first official test of the 2006 Season, at the French circuit of Le Mans on 4th & 5th April, before the Season opener at Assen on Easter Bank Holiday Monday.
Look out for regular updates during the season on how Diablo 666 Kawasaki are faring in the 2006 World Endurance Championship.
