Since the first test of the year at Jerez in Spain, this was to be the first chance all three riders have had to meet up again and compare notes as to the performance of the much improved Kawasaki ZX-10’s the Team will again be campaigning in this years 2006 World Endurance Championships. Conditions at the Kent track were far from ideal, with a bitter cold easterly wind meaning that twenty minutes was all each of the riders could realistically spend on the bikes at a time, before heading back to pit lane for a thorough warm through! Fan heaters were very much the order of the day. The bikes ran faultlessly as normal thanks to Chief Mechanics, brothers, Geoff and Doug Randall who have spent many hours over the winter break, fine tuning and improving the Team’s Kawasaki 2005 ZX-10’s. The Team this year are realistically hoping to improve on their 5th place finish in last year’s championship especially with James Hutchins, Marko Rohtlaan and Alex Cudlin now having been confirmed as the Team’s final rider line up. All three young riders are re-markedly quick and this combined with the
fast and reliable ZX-10’s, Diablo 666 are aiming high in this year’s
Championship. |
